Development of a 3D Multiplayer Racing Game

Racing games are one of the most popular categories of games and their development has always been a challenge to the game programmer, due to their demands in computer resources and fast networks. Most commercial games have been developed in C++, which is a mature programming language used by experienced programmers in the industry. However, network development, mobile gadgets, and hardware development have highlighted the need for a dynamic, continuously developed, portable, and object-oriented programming language for game development.

Write Your Name in Elvish

Write Your Name in Elvish in Ten Minutes: "You want to write your name in Elvish, but every place you go seems to make it harder than it ought to be. Elvish writing looks beautiful and mysterious, but does it really have to be impossible to understand? Why doesn't somebody just spell out the alphabet so you can simply substitute the letters and get straight to the result? That's exactly what I've done here. Learn to write your name in Elvish in ten minutes. It's not very hard."

The Milgram Experiment: A Lesson in Depravity

The Milgram Experiment: A Lesson in Depravity: "The aftermath of the Holocaust and the events leading up to World War II, the world was stunned with the happenings in Nazi German and their acquired surrounding territories that came out during the Eichmann Trials. Eichmann, a high ranking official of the Nazi Party, was on trial for war crimes and crimes against humanity. The questions is, 'Could it be that Eichmann, and his million accomplices in the Holocaust were just following orders? Could we call them all accomplices?'

Stanley Milgram answered the call to this problem by performing a series of studies on the Obedience to Authority."

Never underestimate the power of your influence on others.

Skeptical Christian

Skeptical Christian: "The notion that Christianity is based on a “leap of faith” rather than an intellectual commitment of mind and soul to God is widespread in today’s culture. At The Skeptical Christian, this mistake is addressed head on. Christianity is *not* a worldview for the weak-minded and it is *not* based on a blind leap of faith.

The Skeptical Christian was designed with discussion in mind. Any article on this site can be commented on, and any suggestions, critiques, or alternative perspectives on any of the writings are welcomed and encouraged."

BibleMap.org

BibleMap.org: "BibleMap.org is developed by the duo at He Lives Ministries (HeLives.com). The motivation for developing the site was simple. Create a free Bible atlas which harnesses Google maps. We hope this site will be a blessing to you and possibly help make the living book of the Bible more alive in your life."

God's Story Video

God's Story Video - English Synopsis: "The video, God's Story: From Creation To Eternity, presents an overview of the whole Bible, highlighting God's promised plan. The promised Savior, Jesus, came. While on earth, He stated and showed that everything recorded about Himself in the Old Testament writings, including even the smallest of details, would all be fulfilled, 100 percent, and it was.

One significant proof of the Bible's divine authorship comes from its being the only book in the world ever written that contains predictions (prophecies) which have proven to be 100 percent accurate."

Secrets of a Great Handshake

Manager Tools - Tools for Leaders and Managers » Blog Archive » Secrets of a Great Handshake: "The hand shake is the most important professional greetings in the world today. There are many cultures in the world, and there are places to bow, and places to hug, and places where cheek-kissing is perfectly appropriate. The handshake, though is the preferred greeting for most of our audience.

If you’re going to do business in the world, or if you’re a manager at a multi-national corporation, you need to know how to shake hands. This cast will teach you in excruciating (grin) detail.

The Ten Steps to a Great Handshake

* Make Eye Contact
* Smile
* Move Forward
* Left Foot Forward
* Elbow IN!
* Web to Web
* Push Them Back
* Grip the Bat
* 1-2 Pumps Only
* Let Go

Some No-Nos

* No double handed grips
* No shoulder clasp
* Do NOT move your hand side to side in any way
* No pulling

I am sure it makes me seem terribly nerdy to break a handshake down this way… but it works, and we know lots of folks want to know, but don’t know where to go."
